You will receive similar the one in the photograph. These have been professionally gold plated at some point and really make beautiful historic coins.

In 1883 the Mint issued a new design for the nickel with the head of Liberty and a Roman “V” meaning “5” on the reverse. Many people thought that the coin was an error since in didn’t have “cents” written on the coin. The lack of the word cents created an opportunity for the unscrupulous. The coins were gold plated and they were passed off as $5 gold coins.

    24K gold plated 1883 w/cents!

I won one of these at auction with the word cents on it! Should be worth more than the ones without, apparently that's how it works with the regular unplated Nickels. Nice looking piece, shiny gold!
